USN: CHRISTMAS GREETING
During a temporary position as a graphic designer at University of South-Eastern Norway autumn/winter 2023, one of the tasks was to produce a digital Christmas greeting that was to be sent out to all employees by email in the 16:9 format. In addition, the greeting was also to be posted on the platforms: Instagram and Snapchat. Small changes and adaptations were made to both of these formats. With the 1:1 format, the illustration is divided into two images in a carousel. At 9:16 the landscape is not included, but only the car and the statement "Good Christmas!" under. The illustration was produced based on USN's own illustration style and visual identity.
The illustration was inspired by the song "Driving Home for Christmas". Through a snow-covered landscape, USN drives the car with happy employees and students going home for Christmas. On the roof of the car, they have piled packages and decorations that sway in the wind.
